  • Èbe is the result of collaboration between Sarah Bronsard (choreographer) and Patrick Saint-Denis (sound and robotic art). The piece revolves around a choir of five robot-accordions and flamenco. Characters in their own right, the robotic accordions evoke a human presence and question a certain evolution of body representation. Arranged so as to evoke a kind of extra-human lung, their presence multiplies the parallels between flesh and metal bodies.

Èbe is also born from the desire to stage phenomena that go beyond us and guide us beyond our individual questionings. The piece focuses on the tides, whose fluctuation evokes an immense breathing. The performer synchronizes her movements with the instruments to examine the communicative dimension of breath. A metaphorical question emerges: what is revealed when the tide recedes?
