  • ‘’ Dance has been a part of me since I was young. The desire to express myself has always been with me, despite the handicap, despite what others think, despite my fears and doubts.

Move, lay, tense up, turn, go forward, are vital actions rooted in my human fantasies. I like to challenge my paralysis, show it that I haven’t done my last movement.

Dance to release; dance to escape my static condition. My dance, my rescue buoy, my light.

Dance so I don’t throw the towel, dance in the name of difference, in the name of the stars and poetry. ‘’

    France Geoffroy

Jamais seule (Never alone) is inspired by the movement abilities of quadriplegic dancer France Geoffroy. This autobiographical piece represents a deep need of expression that is translated in an unremitting back and forth between past and present. Jamais seule is a reserved and irreverent look at another reality.
