  • In Blind Date, Les Bordéliques pursue their signature interdisciplinary narrative approach using dance, music and theater.

Musician and dancer embody three men and three women as they intersect and collide in an attempt to form improbable couples.

Male archetypes all play a different type of violin, creating a musical universe in their image. Female characters use percussive dance, each wearing footwear that reflects their individual temperament. From stilts to pointe shoes and electric violins to high heels, they play out a game of seduction and a clash of personalities.

Will the macho man succumb to the coquettish smile of the femme fatale? Will the nervous nerd survive the rebel’s confrontational attitude? How will the romantic tame the bashful? It's a dance of lonely halves on a quest for the perfect shoe with the perfect fit.
