An elusive artist trained at Conservatoire de Paris (Music) and at LADMMI (Dance), Clara Furey is intrigued by the combination of the forms, languages and codes that create a dynamic work. As a performer, she has worked for many choreographers, including George Stamos, Damien Jalet and Benoît Lachambre, who had a major impact on her artistic development. In 2011, she began choreographing with a profoundly transdisciplinary approach, creating works at the crossroads of dance, performance and music, with collaborators such as Céline Bonnier, Benoît Lachambre (Chutes Incandescentes), Eric Arnal Burtshy, Michikazu Matsune, and Peter Jasko (Untied Tales (the vanished power of the usual reign)). In 2016, Clara Furey moved into artistic direction and group choreographic creation with Cosmic Love. At the same time, she was also invited by MACM to create a solo performance called When Even The, as part of an exhibition to celebrate Léonard Cohen.
